Hello World,
Can you guess who the Hulk is? Well, it's my dad, so let's talk about it. As a little girl, my dad was always my superhero. I knew he would protect me, provide for me, take care of me, etc.
If you don't know superheroes I'll break down the Hulk for you. The Hulk or in his "normal state" Bruce Banner is a scientist who was was testing a bomb he developed for the military. He discovered a teenager on the bomb testing site. He helped the teen oblivious to the threat of the bomb. Bruce was able to save the teenager but at his own expense. Banner was hit with the bomb's radiation. Bruce soon discovers that whenever he is mad, scared, or under stress, he becomes a violent "monster". The "monster", is called the Hulk.
Now that we have that in mind let's talk about my dad. My dad was my superhero, I could for the most part talk to him about any and everything. He supported my dreams and aspirations. He was a S.T.E.M (Science Technology Engineering and Math) nerd as well (hence The Hulk title). He was my backbone especially when it came to school. He was always willing to help me with my homework even if it left me frustrated or upset after I was done. I will be forever grateful to have him as a father. Some days I wish he was here so I could talk to him about nursing school and all that good stuff. But I know he is looking down on me and hopefully, he is proud.
Another day as an adult (who knew the Hulk?).........damn,
Tasha
